TEO Psychological and Behavioral Health Institute is a specialized diagnostic center dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological evaluations across the lifespan, from early childhood through older adulthood. The institute focuses exclusively on high-quality, evidence-based assessments designed to clarify diagnoses, identify functional strengths and weaknesses, and inform individualized treatment planning.
Services include evaluations for a wide range of clinical and developmental concerns, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning and cognitive disorders, emotional and behavioral functioning, mood disorders, personality functioning, memory concerns, and disability-related evaluations. Each assessment integrates clinical interviews, standardized psychological testing, behavioral observations, and collateral information to ensure diagnostic accuracy and clinical utility.
Following the completion of each evaluation, TEO Psychological and Behavioral Health Institute provides clear, structured, and actionable recommendations tailored to the individual’s needs. These recommendations are designed to guide next steps in care and may include referrals to appropriate providers and services, such as individual psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation for medication management, neurology, occupational therapy (OT), physical therapy (PT), speech and language therapy, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), when clinically indicated.
The institute’s model is evaluation-focused, with the goal of serving as a central point for diagnostic clarification and care coordination. Essential information regarding our evaluation procedures and institutional services.
We provide comprehensive psychological and behavioral health evaluations including Autism Spectrum Disorder assessments, cognitive and memory testing, ADHD evaluations, court-ordered psychological evaluations, immigration hardship evaluations, disability assessments, and evaluations for school or workplace accommodations.
Our institute provides comprehensive psychological evaluations from early childhood through older adulthood. Each evaluation is tailored to the individual’s concerns and includes a thorough clinical interview, standardized assessments, and relevant background information.
We strive to provide diagnostic clarity, along with targeted recommendations to guide next steps, including therapy, academic supports, and medical referrals.
The evaluation process typically takes place over one to three sessions, with each session lasting approximately one to four hours, depending on the complexity of the case. It begins with a comprehensive clinical interview to gather relevant background information, followed by testing as indicated. After all components are completed, the data are carefully reviewed and a report is prepared. A feedback session is then scheduled to discuss the findings and recommendations, at which time the finalized report is provided.
We currently do not accept insurance, but can provide a superbill to be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement.
Please bring any relevant records that may inform the evaluation, such as prior psychological or educational reports, medical records, and school documents (e.g., IEPs or 504 plans). If applicable, you may also bring completed questionnaires or forms provided in advance.
